About the Photographer

So here's a little background about me. I love photography and have since I was a kid. I love animals and have grown up with them since I was 5. I have had dogs mainly, fish, and turtles. Now that I am grown up, I ended up rescuing a pregnant cat and we kept her litter. She had 3 kittens and it was so beautiful to watch them be born and just grow. Now we took in two more kitties, a brother and sister. So all in all we have 6 cats living with us. Yes it is a zoo, but it's also fun and we love them dearly.

Wathcing the kittens grow I wanted to capture their cuteness and I would spend a lot of time taking photographs of one or two. Which ever cat would be the most photogenic at the time. Ash seemed to be my model majority of the time. And when I would let him outside, his eyes would light up and I could capture wonderful pictures of him.

I still take photos of the others but it's harder to capture them as the other's aren't as cooperative as my Ash. I have taken my camera with me when I travel to the local farm to get milk, eggs and meat and have captured some farm animals in my travel there. What is nice about the local farm is that they have peacocks, roosters, chickens, ducks and other farm animals along with cats and dogs. So there is plenty of variety.

Services

Consultations are free. It's best to take the time to get a feel and idea of what the pet owner is looking for or looking to capture in their session. With a consultation I can meet with you and we can sit down together and work out the details.

Typically a photo shoot will be from 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours. Given that allotment of time allows me and the pet to get familar and I can see how the pet is within it's own environment and surroundings.

Locations primarily are the pet owner's home. This is the best situation and with cats, most pet owners tend to keep cats indoors. As for dogs, they can be both at the owner's home and outdoors, park is most preferably preferred.

Currently with the Shoot package you have a choice of CD (digital images) or you can have actual prints. Coming soon is the option to have a photo album made and also looking into holiday packages.
